James Hetfield por pouco se machucou seriamente nesta segunda-feira, 4 de setembro, durante apresentação do Metallica no Ziggo Dome em Amsterdam, no Reino dos Países Baixos.
A banda tocava "Now That We're Dead" quando Hetfield deu um passo em falso e caiu em um pequeno fosso que estava aberto no palco - ao que parece é de onde saem os instrumentos de percussão que o Metallica usa em determinada parte do show. Em questão de segundos vários membros da equipe foram em auxílio ao frontman, enquanto Robert Trujillo e Kirk Hammett aparentemente estavam de olho com um semblante de preocupação. Depois de ser erguido de volta ao palco, Hetfield continuou tocando até o final entre caretas de dor.
